What is Sell With Vaultory?

Sell With Vaultory is a managed consignment service where Vaultory receives your collectible, inspects it, lists it, markets it, stores it and manages the entire customer transaction.


Does Vaultory buy my item directly?

Not necessarily.

Under consignment, you remain the owner until the collectible is successfully sold.

You and Vaultory agree on the payout you will receive if the transaction completes.


What kind of collectibles can I submit?

You may submit any genuine collectible for consideration.

Vaultory decides which items are suitable for the platform.


Is there a minimum value?

No.

There is currently no minimum collectible value.


Do I need proof of purchase?

Provide proof of purchase, authenticity certificates or provenance whenever available.

An item may still be considered without these documents, depending on the collectible.


Do I send the item immediately?

No.

First submit photographs and details through our online submission process.

Wait for preliminary approval before sending the collectible.


Who pays to send the item to Vaultory?

Vaultory covers the inbound courier cost for approved submissions.


Can I drop the item off myself?

Yes.

Approved items can be delivered directly or sent by courier.


Is preliminary approval final?

No.

Every collectible must pass physical inspection before final acceptance.


Do you charge a listing fee?

No.

There is no upfront fee for standard inspection, photography, listing or marketing.


How does Vaultory earn?

You agree on the amount you want to receive.

Vaultory then determines the retail selling price and manages its own selling margin.


Can Vaultory discount my item?

Yes.

Vaultory may offer discounts or negotiate with customers as long as your agreed payout remains unchanged.


How long must my item stay with Vaultory?

The minimum consignment period is 30 days.


Can I take it back before 30 days?

Yes.

A Rs. 5,000 early withdrawal fee applies.


What happens if my item doesn't sell?

After the initial 30 days, you can:

  • Keep it listed
  • Discuss pricing
  • Request it back

There is no early withdrawal fee after the initial 30-day period.


Who pays return courier?

Vaultory covers the return courier cost.


Is there a storage charge?

No.

Vaultory currently does not charge a storage fee.


When do I get paid?

Seller payment is normally processed by bank transfer 3 days after successful customer delivery.


What if the buyer refuses the parcel?

No seller payout is released.

The item can be placed back on sale.


What if a customer returns the item?

Valid returns and refund claims are reviewed case by case.

Seller payout may be temporarily held until the matter is resolved.


Can I sell my item privately while Vaultory has it?

No.

Consignment is exclusive while the item is actively held and listed by Vaultory.


What if I find my own buyer?

During the first 30 days, you may either complete the transaction through Vaultory or withdraw the item subject to the Rs. 5,000 early withdrawal fee.


What if the item turns out to be fake?

The seller remains responsible for counterfeit, stolen or materially misrepresented items.


Does Vaultory insure my collectible?

Vaultory does not currently provide separate insurance for consigned inventory.

However, if Vaultory directly damages an accepted collectible while it is physically in our custody, compensation will be based on the agreed seller payout.
